Got stuck and /kill on ??? step of Hero of Gavel

I was doing the hero of gavel quest and i got all the way to the end, but the last scene where the npcs give you the reward got cut off half way because the npcs disappeared all of a sudden. i tried relogging and they never respawned. i did /kill to get out of the instanced area and invisible box. now i have no idea how to get back to that ending step. is the quest just forever bugged now?

I suggest reporting it mainly on the website, in the bugs tab, this usually addresses the issue/bug and hopefully it will get handled during when the developers are next able to fix them.
