    Not entirely sure if it works on mac but

    DaVinci Resolve 12.5

    Don't use the DaVinci Resolve 14 Public Beta. It's BARELY different from the 12.5 (as far as I could tell) and it just crashes like every five minutes.

    and just to clarify, DaVinci Resolve 12.5 is free, and DaVinci Resolve Studio 12.5 is $299.

    I don't make videos often tho I just use it for school, maybe someone with more knowledge of this has a better suggestion. I just wanted to throw this out there. o3o
