Hi, I'm Grim_pls and I was just wondering how good your example quest needs to be when you sign up for GM, because I want to apply for it? If you have any questions, please comment.

 

Heres what I think.

You remember wynnexcavation? Thats the stuff that the devs want.

 

It needs to have lots of depth, both in detail and in gameplay.
It needs to be well thought out, and developed over a long course of time.
It needs to give the player a challenge, as well as a fun experience.
It needs to bring something completely new to the table, something unique and refreshing.
It needs to be able to utilize the game's resources to their highest limit.
It needs to feel rewarding, as if the player has truly accomplished something.
It needs to leave a mark on the player's memory, so they will enjoy coming back to it later.

These are the aspects, that I feel truly define Wynncraft quest material.







Then again, everyone disliked Frost Bitten, so I guess my opinion is moot at this point.

 

Mainly a good quest follows four elements. Fun, Unpredictability, Creativity, and Knowledge.

•Fun: The quest can't be a boring fetch quest. It needs bight quality dialogue that engages you.
•Unpredictability: We don't want a run-of-the-mill quest. It needs to change in a new and unexpected way.
•Creativity: it needs flavor.
•Knowledge: More important than money, and shows understanding of the events themselves

As @Flubby-Senpai and @axii said, to have a good GM application, it needs to be a creative one. The GMs create the items, mobs, NPCs, quests and more.

So if you want to make an application, make sure that you make something creative, something people will like.

But I'm pretty sure GMs applications won't be accepted until Gavel is out. So you'll have to wait until soon™.

Oh god i saw it lol.
Also they dont want the quest to be like: bring me this and this. Try to make the quest with a lot of story and such
Like a plot twist in the middle.
I can apply to gm with a lot of ideas, but, i am lazy af

Talk to Levagos at (x,y,z)
Search Llevigar Castle
Search the sewers
Talk to King of Llevigar
Talk to Thief ??? (i forgot his name)
Go to (x,y,z)
Kill Thraine
Bring the [King of Llevigar's Crown] to King of Llevigar

PS: The quest is called Stolen Royalty.
PPS: The stages MIGHT not be exact, but they MIGHT be.

 

GM apps will not be accepted atm.

I'm pretty sure that they aren't accepting any more GM's until Gavel is released. At least that's what I've been informed. I may be wrong though :)
