Gathering Tools

To what does gathering tools count? (like junk items, other etc.)

Im not that into crafting but can those tools drop if you do all 3 gamemodes together?

Also can horses and untradeable id items drop?

 

The first question is just confusing. I don’t understand it. (If you mean what they do, you use the tools to gather from resource nodes.)

Tools don’t drop from mobs, you buy them from merchants. If you mean if you can drop them from your inventory, yes you can.

Why would they be affected?

2) yes, they can drop on death
3) i dont think horses drop on death, but im not sure about untradable id ones
