    Hi!

    I had an idea.

You know how some beacons used to show up only early on in runs? Make it the opposite for (specifically) Dark Gray. Currently, long runs are just for fun, since stacking into a Dark Gray is still wayyyy more profitable than a long run (smth smth "effective pulls"). I propose that Dark Gray (only) be locked behind challenge 20. Unable to be offered until someone has committed to a run for a while. Now, I dont want this post to be a "lock all good beacons" because that would not be fun. Getting Rainbow on your first challenge is awesome! But I do think that Dark Gray is too powerful in its current state, and I'd rather not see it nerfed to the ground becuase of that.

This method would reward longer runs that usually take a lot of boons to maintain while nerfing Dark Gray and any other very powerful beacons that might be added to a healthy state

I think that this could be a partial fix for a current problem with long-term loot running (aka longer runs being punished as opposed to pump and dump 10-20 rounders with good beacon picks), but the problem is that Dark Greys are already really rare, and gating them that late on top of their base rarity might result in people rarely ever seeing them. Additionally, it wouldn't really solve the main problem which is the average loot pool being skewed and way worse than classical lootrunning in its current state, but I'm honestly not sure if that's a problem that can be easily changed with game rebalancing.
