ARMOUR

Helmet: Pisces - Nice mana regen, strength, raw melee damage, and spell & melee %'s

IDS you want: Max mana regen - Max raw melee dmg - above avg spell & melee % dmg - any strength

Chestplate: Taurus/Chestplate of Ineptitude - Excellent melee % damage (for both), and raw melee damage on Taurus, chestplate of ineptitude has tier 2 attack speed if you want spells to do damage than melee

IDS you want on TAURUS: Max raw melee damage - melee % dmg
IDS you want on Chestplate of Ineptitude: 2 Tier Attack speed - Max % Melee Damage

Leggings: Snail Leggings/Vaward - Nice HP (2800 + HP Bonus), earth % damage, and poison/Nice HP 3300, spell and melee % damage, skillpoints
IDS you want on Snail Leggings: Max Earth % Damage, HP bonus, Poison/3
IDS you want on Vaward: Max spell & melee % damage, over 4 skillpoints on all of them!

Boots: Gaea Hewn Boots/Memento - EXCELLENT elemental defenses & gives amazing stats for earth, water, and fire elements/amazing mana regen, raw spell damage, and spell % damage

IDS you want on Memento: max mana regen, above avg raw spell, and above avg spell % damage

ACCESSORIES

Ring #1: Rycar's Elation - Nice poison, definitely #1 priority!
IDS you want: above avg poison
NOTE: This item is NOT out yet! It will come out in the future. Alternative is any ring with earth % damage

Ring #2: Intensity - Nice elemental damage, and spell % damage
IDS you want: well it's pre-ided
NOTE: You will need another Master voucher from the hive. I heavily recommend not doing this since you're already spending 3 of your hive master vouchers, go with a alternative ring with earth % damage if you wish.

Bracelet: Nebulous - Nice raw spell damage, and spell % damage, as well with elemental defense

Necklace: Planet Healer/Contrast - Nice poison, and elemental defenses/Nice poison, health bonus, and walk speed
IDS you want on Planet healer: Above avg poison, minimal defense loss
IDS you want on Contrast: well it's pre-ided
NOTE: This is your 3rd master voucher being used, I heavily don't recommend it and planet healer is x10 better in terms of poison.

Weapon: Gaia
IDS you want on Gaia: Above avg raw melee damage, above avg poison, above avg strength, above avg negative spell damage

Skill Points

Strength: 95 for Gaia
Dexterity: 13 for nebulous plus the 3 extra skill points you have
Intelligence: 70 for pisces
Defense: 33 do NOT put any if you're not using Gaea Hewn, otherwise put 10
Agility: 10

Damage: 4/5 Insane raw melee damage! Your melee will do a lot!
Defenses: 4.5/5 Great elemental defenses with Gaea Hewn & Other items
Mobility: 4/5 70 Intelligence makes your TP cost 2 mana!
Spells: 4.5/5 Great meteor damage, if using CoI

Powder slots [3/3]
Well since Salted released info about powders I now am going to show you what to use! On Gaia. You will have 3 options, for the special attack since it requires 2 powders, @Cruuk-huud thank you for this reminder. Put 3 powders in the element you chose for your special. Except for thunder, that's kind of not what you want for Gaia put an Earth powder instead.

Powder #1: Earth - Wasn't this obvious? More AoE? Yes! It's perfect since you will be auto-attacking a lot and it will do AoE damage and also stun them!

Powder #2: Water - Also wasn't this obvious? It reduces the elemental defense of other players! Perfect for PvP & Duels.

Powder #3: Thunder - I like the idea of dealing damage one by one with chain lightning so why not add it to our build?

Armor Powders!

Pisces - [2/2] Slots
2 Air powders - I like how you can do more damage the longer you stay close by a mob!

Taurus/Chestplate of Ineptitude - [0/0] Slots [3/3] Slots
3 Earth powders IF you're running Chestplate of Ineptitude - I LOVE how you do more damage the more little your HP is, if it gets too rough though, spam heal and just keep attacking

Snail Leggings/Vaward - [2/2] Slots OR [3/3] Slots
2 Fire powders - If you're going to get hit to deal more damage with Earth powders you might as well use fire to also do more damage for a short period of time.
3 Fire Powders, same reason as above.

Gaea Hewn Boots/Memento - [1/1] OR [3/3] Slots
1 Thunder powder - I like how you can kill a mob and gain such great damage, shown in salted's picture definitely a valued option!
3 Thunder powders if using memento - Same as above. More damage the easier it is to kill other players/mobs

Wow you're still here... Congratz! I hope you liked my build for Gaia. I tried to explain everything about why you should pick the powders & other things.

The build itself seems nice but:

Keep in mind you need 2 of the same powder on a weapon for a special attack to take place, so you'll only be able to use one of those specials on Gaia.

 

Yeah, I thought about that, but I didn't include it in the build, thank you for the heads up! I will include 3 options now.

 

The powders' specials only do extra damage in its respective element. This makes using non-earth powders near useless, as Gaia would be doing almost none of those damages unless you made it so. Spreading out the elements is not that effective.

You could definitely make an int/str build better if you put water powder(s) on Gaia. And for that build, do not use CoI. The +tier attack speed bug is not supposed to affect spell damage.

I like that you're giving mages strong melee damage, strong spell damage, strong everything!

 

Okay, sure I guess you're right on the powders, so should I add 3 powders to the Gaia like you said? Also I use CoI for both melee % and the spell damage but also when it gets fixed I will still use it to attack faster. Right now taurus is great! Thanks for the compliments and your opinion on this build :) really helps me improve on what I could've done better.

btw this build is earth/water meaning it focuses on high damage spells so why give it chest of intreptitude that fucks up ur spell damage ?

 

Um I can have either earth/water for the special and I included that so go get your eyes checked m8, also why say chestplate of ineptitude is trash when I can just remove the spell dmg with pisces, memento, and nebulous, (intensity if you use it) basically 11+13+11+6 = 41% spell damage and then the -42% spell damage is just -1% now rofl? It's also used for the HUGE melee % damage and not to get fucked by spells doing no damage from taurus -negative attack speed.

 

what does it matter that you only get -1%
from usingthis chestplate if u get amazing ids u lose 42% spell damage
you need to decide if u want a melee build or a spell build because this build tries to do both and while doing that ruins them
also why would you use taurus its garbage?

 

1. Taurus is not trash, it's A+ by my ranking, it allows you to basic attack enemies with great damage while also knocking them back for a second hit, and so forth, if you say it's trash NOPE you're just an assassin main how do you know if taurus is good on mage or not? Ranged 1.3-2k melee lol

2. I care about both tbh, spells and melee matter, in the process I can just hit them with melee and ice snake a ton if I wanted to but that's not what I was thinking of, I wanted a hybrid build so I could achieve doing massive spells & melee damage at the same time. Which this build can accomplish, idk why you think having this type of build is so bad... It's my little build that I created and if you don't like it then just go away :-;

ranged 1.3k-2k melee damage?
what
its 1.3k at max ids and 300 at worst
and its gonna make u hit super slow , after the update when they fix tier attack speed its gonna suck since even 1.3k neutral with all the damage gaia has with super slow is horrible
melee builds with powders could go up to 5k damage with fast+ attack speed and when comparing them to this one it will suck really bad
knocking them back for a second hit? knocking them back is bad they are gonna get away and use a spell that will fuck you up "you are just an assassin main" how do i know if taurus is good on mage? hm mybe because taurus is not diffrent for mage , taurus is only good if you have super slow attack speed already if not it sux

its not that the type of build is bad
is that you dont use armor pieces who are good for this build you use armor pieces who are only good for 1 part of this build and nerf the other which is why its not going to work
the pisces is a good choice
the leggings are fine alltho vaward would be a better choice
the boots are again fine but could be switched
and both the chestplate choices (taurus and chest of int) will make your spell damage so much lower which will ruin the build

 

I'm happy with just using:

Ethereal

Third eye

Seagazer

Elder oak roots

Sodeta boots

vaward is kinda meh since im primarily using an earth weapon but the spell % & melee % are nice
what would YOU suggest for a chestplate?

True taurus will be bad with the tier attack speed fix but that's where chestplate of ineptitude comes in, the weapon will become fast attack speed the way it is suppose to work, making the melee excellent, swinging about 1k-ish melee with 260 + 195 + 33 + regular melee dmg

 

but i like the build i am trying to help make it better
people cant take some feedback now days

Well kwaby it's just how some people act when others strike up an opinion of their own and then they suddenly are like dafuq u wanna go m8? And I have choice now Taurus for melee only, and then chestplate of ineptitude for melee & spells

 

anyways its kinnda hard to find a new chestplate but if u stick with the snail pants you should have enough health to afford using a chaos
alltho the health bonus is pretty low if you manage to get 35%+ melee/spell damage and the negative earth damage higher than -17% you should feel a pretty high damage diffrence
or if rather just have a lot more health go with leo and vaward/legs of deso

 

with chestplate of ineptitude

2800+3250+3000 (assuming you have good ided hp bonus snail leggings) + 4000/3000 = 13k/12k HP and with Chaos it would be

2800+1700+3000+4000/3000 = 11.5k/10.5k ehh it might work but idk if I want the neutral damage over the incredible tier attack speed/melee % damage

 

Tier atk speed is a bug and isn't supposed to boost spell damage. Also water powder ability as said by selvut I think only doubles the damage u deal for a set amount of time, not lowering elemental defence at all. Other than that it's a pretty solid build

 

I use for boosting attack speed either way it works gr8 also when lol? Salted said it was a special attack for a weapon that poored a rain cloud above them to reduce their defense
