I'm not going to be playing Fruma during the DXP weekend - don't have the time, and also the lag is still absolutely insane. But I've dipped my toes in and done some minor stuff around, and I've discovered that I am definitely not strong enough. I've handled two caves more or less without fuss, but trying to do the low-level slay quest for Stackpeak Hawks has killed me three times thus far. I do very little damage, and the hawks do quite a lot.

My build worked fairly well before Fruma dropped, but I'm not sure how it might have changed. I'm a pure Lightbender full-Morph Cascade setup; rainbow stats with excess points dumped into Intelligence, mainly melee attacking with Ophanim aid and some Ice Snakes. Overall a sustain build. Am I just not bothering to take the Hawks seriously after so long of being at max level, or is this just too trash for Fruma?

I picked up three legendary wands from one of those caves, and they all identified as low-roll Regal Sceptres. Apparently part of a Regal Set. The game says they have 300 DPS while my Cascade has 400-500 (don't remember exactly). Is this a sign that Cascade is fine for my level? Actually, as a matter of fact, is Fruman equipment actually better than old stuff? I've gotten flip-flopping on that; Mythics apparently needed the Item Upgrader, and the Normal items and potions get buffed up, but I've previously heard from CT that stat increases are intended to flatline at level 100, with further, higher-level items just offering more build diversity.

I think that specific mini-quest is just weirdly balanced. I also died several times to that after having relatively few issues with like 6 levels of quests

The hawks are absolutely insane. I wouldn't use those as the litmus for needing a stronger build; a group of them is honestly much harder than most quest bosses I've faced at level 111.

With regards to getting a better build, I've been trying to upgrade my build, but I've found almost nothing that's actually better than what I'm using (especially asphyxia, which I absolutely hate and want gone so this makes me sad), and the handful of items I'd consider using either have insane skillpoint requirements (it almost feels like CT thought we'd be getting more skill points from the way some new items demand them) or just have some massive downside (usually to the extent that I already have something better). A friend and I have been going through and identifying as many items as possible, and so far I've not found anything that works for my build without making it worse than it already is.
