Community Event Finding The New 1.18 "discoveries"

1.18 has been revolutionary in a number of ways. It's brought a brand new trade system, a whole lot of system improvements, and crafting. But here and there, a little new surprise from the Wynncraft devs can be found- "uneventful discoveries". Playing out as a small cutscene with various characters, these "discoveries" reward no exp, but rather bring life to the in-game world. In this thread, I aim for us to document all of these fun new cutscenes. Have you found one yourself? Share it with us here!

WYNN REGION:

The Ternaves TNT Suicide (found by Shadowdabber on discord)

In this small cave near Ternaves, you can find a man about to blow himself up with TNT. In his final moments, he blames every bad thing in his life on the villagers, then explodes.


GAVEL REGION:

The Tent Burner (Found by me)

Near the Chained House right next to the cave exit of Eltom, there lies a small cavern where a hermit lives in a tent. The hermit is surprised to see a fellow human, so surprised in fact that he accidentally burns down his tent and dies along with it.

CORKUS REGION

There's the Dernel Jungle mage who tries to blow you up with a spell, but gets eaten by cannibals attracted by the noise of the failed spell. It's somewhere along the western border of the jungle.

 

I've found about 3 discoveries in the desert, I'm trying to all 7 because there's a special place you can only enter when you've got all the desert discoveries.

 

Ah, you must be thinking of Hidden Discoveries. These are different from the desert hidden discoveries.

This isn't quite what you're looking for, but near X: -800 Z: -2500 there is a castle you can defend. It's not quite like yours because it's interactive but whatever! I call them "events"

 

These are not discoveries, these are new things called "World Events" which can happen at absolute random, they are scattered in many un-noticed, non-suspicious areas, for example the little village on the edge of a mountain near the Fruman gate has a person who wants you to protect the village from pirates.

 

the big tree island (with all the animals) in the ocean, there is a hermit who talks to you saying he has been on that place for a very long time and then dissapears

On the Old relic island there a old man. stand somewhere near the tree he will show up
in the Dernel jungle near the cannibals somewhere on a mountain.
