Art Fear Of The Bayorjak

Just another painting. I was originally going to paint two knights battling, as @Coolfood suggested. However, I really suck at any poses/proportions so I just turned him into a monster. Enjoy!

A Bayorjak is a mythical creature of my own creation. If you think you have any theories/lore on this creature, please tell me. I haven't made any as of yet.
Took about 2.5 hours.

Dwelling beneath the swamps and muck of Olux, it seeks out prey that dropped their guard, or those who dared stand up to it. A valiant warriors' grin turned to horror as they were immobilized in a snare of foliage and roots. Methodically and torturous, the Bayorjak rips the arms and legs off of its' victim with its own multitude of limbs, reveling upon the shrieking of its' prey as they fade into agony, accepting their new grave.

OMG, I love how this painting was made, I legit can't stop laughing. :)
All said, it ends up being a nice piece, I like how the monster is controlling foilage and has many hands to fight. (dat tongue doe)
