Fate Of The Fallen Quest Broken

I was doing the Fate of the Fallen quest in Nesaak and on the part of the quest where you are supposed to defend Thoriak on the bridge, my game froze, and I ended up being stuck in the lava down below and eventually dying. Currently, I can not complete the quest, the NPC won't talk to me, my quest book is stuck on "Defend on the bridge...", and I have tried disconnecting, restarting Minecraft, etc. Is there anything that I can do to fix this?

 

Did you go back to the temple of time with the staff, and then going back to the house by the river?

Try doing the steps leading up the bridge section, and if nothing works file a bug report. :)
