Mage/Dark Wizard Help Fast War Solo Build

So I'm looking for a mage build that can solo guild wars very quickly. Mythics are allowed, LI is preferred left out but if you HAVE to use an LI item, go ahead (Hive items also allowed)

it works fine, but I wanna see if there's something out there that would work better

 

Suggestion for your build, I can almost assure you that taking an item out that has +1 attack speed to further boost your dps would help (putting the speed down to very fast), as there are very few people who can actually consistently click fast enough to make use of super fast. It's only actually beneficial on like archer

but seriously thanks for the tip, but which item would you recommend I replace? I'm thinking accelerator for the -melee % and the awful defenses, but curious as to what you'd think :p

 

I guess the replacement is kinda dependent on your current success with the build (i.e., can you survive reliably with those.. subpar defenses? can you get heal up enough? That stuff) so I just threw some stuff together without much thought and came up with some entertaining results..

In seriousness I'm not a professional build maker so I don't honestly know what would best replace them (the main problem I found is that removing Accel makes the sp a lot tighter), so I'll pass it on to some friends of mine and see if I can get back to you with better results ^^

 

I basically just replace accel with mantlewalkers and replace megabyte with prowess, i have to kill qira 3 more times but other than that i have everything already

 

Super fast attack speed is ~4 cps... I really doubt that people aren't able to hit that cps. The average person who doesn't jitterclick or whatnot gets ~6-8 cps.

 

Really? I could've sworn it was a fair bit higher than that.. ack, guess I just misheard. Regardless in honesty super fast isn't too big of an improvement over very fast and the defense boost that comes with his new build is nice at least :/

Right before I posted this, I realized this only really applied to Archer. However, I thought it'd be interesting so I guess i'll just leave it here

If you click 6cps, you'll miss certain frames and miss out on max dps

Say your melee "refreshes" ever y.25 secs and you click at every .16 seconds (i'll start to omit the decimal to make things simpler)

you click at "0", 16, 32, 48, 64, 80, 96, 108

so, you miss .7 seconds after first melee "refreshes", you miss .16 seconds after second melee "refreshes", .5 seconds after thrid melee "refreshes", and .8 seconds after melee refreshes.

in total, you miss .36 time, which is enough to melee another time, ultimately making you lose a substantial amount of dps per second

of course, you won't click at a CONSTANT 6cps, but the same concept applies

say you click at "0", 16, 42, 59 ,84, 97, 110, then you still lose out on .45 seconds and lose 1 melee hit

How does your point only apply to archer? its still the same attack speed just on arrows... unless you mean arrow flight time, which I still don't see how this would only apply to that.

Also, I'm pretty sure that's not how it works, just from my experience with attack speed in wynncraft and minecraft in general. It feels like it just defaults to the max attack speed if you go over in cps, but it could be just that its differences are fractions of a second so that its not noticeable.

Even so, missing 1 melee hit isn't much, especially if you're running super fast attack speed.

Since you "can't optimize full attack speed potential" by simply clicking, on Archer, your best bet would be to hold down Right click. Since you can't fully optimize Super Fast Attack Speed with Archer by holding down right click, it would be better to hold it down on Very Fast Attack speed so that you can retain some defences and have almost the same damage.

You may be right about the defaulting to the max attack speed, but I barely play 1.9+ pvp and even in Wynn when I melee, I never really pay much attention to stuff, especially fractions of a second.

 

Use wErp, it’s fast, kills things fast, makes u die fast.
