Farpoint - A town inspired by Wynncraft
Featuring features featured in the Wynncraft server, such as the famous Item Identifier(TM)!

Farpoint is a small, rural town with a focus on farming and business. The town features all the shops any adventurer passing through would need, including a bank, Item Identifier, Powder Master, Blacksmith, and Armor and Weapon merchants. Farpoint has been able to protect itself from invading forces by digging a large moat around the town.

P.S.: There's a hidden Salted head somewhere in the map... Try and find him, if you're a true adventurer.

The layout Farpoint is mainly inspired by Gelibord. Gelibord is always defending itself from invading forces, and I wanted to take that idea and put it into Farpoint. I decided to build a giant dirt moat around the town and only connect it to the outer world with two narrow bridges. This gives the defending forces two easy chokepoints to fend off invaders (zombies can't climb out of the moat because they didn't complete Ice Nations).

Fun fact... Before the bank was a bank, it was a ranch. I changed it to a bank last second because I realized "Oh shit I forgot the bank". Maybe I should start making layouts a bit more advanced than MSPaint drawings...

The style of buildings I chose were heavily inspired by the buildings found around the Wynn Plains and in Maltic. I find these buildings to have a very "modest" feel to them, both because of their location and their design, including their roofs that feel like they're intended to only protect the inhabitants of their buildings instead of braggingly stretching above other buildings.

I started this project around a month ago, but I didn't really like the first design I came up with. It was much more grand, with big castle walls and huge watch towers. I wanted to refine the design, but classes got in the way and I put a hold on it. However this week I've gotten some more free time, so I've been able to come back and work on Farpoint. I decided to scale down and turn the "city" into a town.

If you read all the way down here then thank you! If you have the time, I'd appreciate it if you checked out the map. If you don't have the time, then here are some more screenshots for you.
