so after looking at some of the builds posted here I had a bit of inspiration to try a few of the ideas used. This is my fantasy cave build tell me what you guys think 2015-11-02_21.46.14.png
A picture from the "good" side showing the various vegetation and vibrant greens

    2015-11-02_21.46.27.png
A view of the "darker" side showing all the dark themed colors and hellish scenery

    2015-11-02_21.46.40.png
View of the dark area from the light area and the transition in between

    2015-11-02_21.46.58.png
And finally a view from the dark side showing the lighter side

Took me a while to do, all the crystals where done by hand as well as the mushroom/tree things and a good deal of the sceneary and lighting. any constructive criticism is welcome

I recommend adding something to make it special. Structures or a forest, I don't really care as long as it looks good. Also, the falling lava and water in single streams at that height doesn't look amazing.

yea i would normally add some more stuff but i was just messing around with the themes for the most part. this is on a plot server so i just utilized all the plot area, the nether side is definately lacking but i couldnt really think of anything that would fit it tbh (like leaves and such)

Pretty good! But if possible, you should change the biome at the transition area to Desert or Savannah, so it looks more dead. Or use mycelium if that's not possible. I don't know, the transition looks a bit wonky.

i think its just a bit wonky due to the two colors being so far apart tbh, only thing i can guess

The room looks really awesome, but as mentioned above it is rather empty. I'm not good at designing large-scale caves though, so no tips from me - sorry ;P
