Media Eye Solo | Etw Spell Steal Assassin (no Potions)

the time it took is disgusting but based on the circumstances i'll let it slide and post this rather than shooting for a better one



etw = earth/thunder/water, arguably the glassiest combination of sp. it's also said that it's one of the worst, as the glassiness doesn't fully compensate for the increased damage.

spell steal = a spell focused build type that--rather than mana regen--utilizes mana steal as a source of mana. damage per hit can be higher than mana regen builds, but it also can be inconsistent and requires users to approach enemies in order to regenerate mana.


this was a huge pain. as a spell steal assassin, approaching the eye is a must in order to damage it. however, as i'm also etw, approaching the eye when it's doing literally anything can be a one way ticket to instantaneous death.
not only that, but at the third stage, i have to be conscious of my mana and always be sure i have a surplus of it in case a wretch suddenly decides to advance. with the inconsistency that can come with spell steal, this was kinda frustrating to do.
my main strategy was to try and do burst damage against the eye while profiting off of any minions that appeared with melee and chain lightning. if i dropped below 7k-8k, healing turns into a high priority, as otherwise i'd be thrown into the health range of getting killed instantly.

tl;dr: i used a high risk glass cannon to solo the eye by playing safe and careful.

There were some invisible things I couldn't see which rapes my eye when I use F5

 

idk, but i do know that stage three has some wacky hitboxes, and you can't hit the eye with smoke bomb unless you get right in front of it
