Error code 255 and possible account retrieval??

Hi all,

Looking to get back into Wynncraft after about 7 year break according to the stats page. While trying to join the wynncraft server i keep running into a minecraft error code 255. cant find anyway to fix this issue and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also a side note and a very big stretch i would imagine.... but if i do get this problem fixed, i am unable to retrieve my old minecraft account which i had nearly 500 playing hours of wynncraft on. is there any possibility in the slightest that my old accounts gear and stats can be transfered to my new account????

 

Have you tried reinstalling Minecraft? One google search and it says that the only way to fix it is to reinstall minecraft.
