Community Event [Ended] Class Build Challenge (64 LE Prize Pool) - Builds with Armour Restrictions

Hello, it's been a while but I've finally decided on hosting a build competition.

Build Restrictions

With the current bonfire event more players than ever use helmet skins, which led me to create this simple build challenge:

• Create a build that consists of a helmet, accessories and one or multiple weapons.

With so many helmet skins being available now I'm hoping to find some creative and interesting builds without any visible armour pieces.

Event Rules

• Entries can be for any class, and can use any obtainable items in game (this includes Mythic Weapons, Crafted Items and Tomes).
  
• Submissions will be open for 2 weeks, until Sunday August 8th at 23:59 UTC.
• Entries should have a certain theme or playstyle in mind. With armour restrictions it will be difficult to create all around great builds (you can still go for it if you want to have a shot at it!), so this should give more room to see creative ways of achieving more specific uses.
• Builds will be ranked by creativity and how useful they are for their designed purpose.

-Caesura is for -mr and -ms
-Prisms are so you can actually use pande and pure
-pande for major id and -ls
-golemlus for hp (just to make it slightly more playable)
-Pure to cancel out melee

The whole concept is that you have to hit mobs to get mana, while not effectively killing your self due to the -ls. You have to get lucky with heal spells to speed up the fight.

Playstyle: Raw melee tier stack with skien's madness
Special items: None
Comments: decent eHP and damage for a build with 3 armor pieces lacking

 

This is actually plenty enough mana for mage. Every mob hit can proc mana steal, so if you hit 2 mobs you can get up to 12 mana per hit (somewhere around 25% chance). You might struggle with bosses without minions though.

So if you can survive with that ehp (I think some people can) this is actually playable.

Playstyle: Spell, using mana steal to consistently use meteor
Special Items: Tomes are needed, but I figured getting an extra 4k ehp trumps having to use tomes
Comments: Somewhat viable, with the lifesteal The Nothing brings.

 

Only real reason to go for a build like this is to assert dominance running naked with explosive impact but sadly the one armor piece which should give it (scarlet veil) does not.

Another more subtle way to show dominance is to get a less showy hat and go AFK in the bottomless pit at the panic zealot fight and win, which is the point of this build:

Don't play, make it look like you're naked and afk in 'dangerous' areas.

Good praesidiums are hard to come by, but other than that not really.

It could work decently without the helmet if you really wanna look naked. Mirror can be changed to diamond solar ring for more survivability but less cactus. Corkus goggles are the suggested hat because they look the least impressive and the point is to not look impressive whilst surviving alot and using thorns/reflection. Also don't go afk where mobs have burst damage.

 

I actually used a build like this when I didn't have a warrior build and didn't want to use heavy melee

Playstyle: Mini lunar spine on shaman (yay mana steal split in 3 beams yaaaaaaaaaaay), no tankiness whatsoever, with pandemonium

Playstyle:
Doing the daily/weekly tasks (gathering, chests, etc.) near ragni/detlas/whatever low level area, as lazily and stylishly as possible. Using this means you want the mobs to stop bothering you (die) without having to put in any effort. Bonfire daily grind

An entry that's as good as a full build for its usecase? Bet you didn't see that coming :)

a5 on helmet so there aren't any negative eledefs since that true damage can be a bit of an ouchie.
Since the mobs will die quickly, courage > curse. tbf it won't really matter but w/e small optimizations


Features:
- Up to 3.7k/3s poison which is overkill for what you'll be using this for
- ~430/3s when not holding Plague Staff (like when you're gathering!! this existing is important!!!), perfect for killing mobs with...
- Thorns to apply poison and to aggro pet!! 102% means you have 2% of breathing room on rolls. Not enough but whatever, it'll be close to 100%.
- Plague as well which actually works like a poison forcefield around you, if you didn't know. Combined with thorns, it's extremely potent at wiping out low level stuff- exactly what we want. It would be better with uranium aegis though since you won't be holding plague staff all the time but...
- 12k EHP (121 def lfg) means you're not dying anytime soon from the mobs in where you'll be vibing
- like 200 hpr which translates into like 640 ehpr, kinda nice
- all positive eledefs, no getting bopped by true damage
- you probably want to use a horse but tp cost is lower than you'd expect so like

ehp is a myth.
playstyle: etw mage!
special items:
- lament acts as a great mana steal battery, so caesura can pump damage
- olive x2 + contrast lets you live like;; half an arrow storm from something and live to tell the tale

honestly, this actually works. yeah its difficult to play, but its not THAT much more difficult than any other etw mage (in some cases), and the damage is pretty high given only a helmet

Ever feared for the lives of those who stand still and lifeless at the Detlas trade market searching for epic deals for days on end? (Seriously guys - go take a shower)

Well fear no more! For a small price because the fabled market is oversaturated, YOU can practice your aim and blow away any pesky mooshrooms who sneak past the Detlas iron golems and terrorize the economist of Wynn!

Features:
- 14.8k courage-boosted DPS go brrr.
- Enough total HP/EHP to survive wounds inflicted by any monster that may infiltrate Detlas.
- Over 100 health regen and almost 100 life steal to replenish your lost health in battle against the cows.
- 2.8 strength and courage-boosted poison to ensure no mooshroom survives the apocalyptic aftermath of your explosions (unless I am uninformed and explosions do not proc poison)
- 23% walk speed and +1 jump height for maneuverability on the battlefield.

Purpose of build:
To wield one of the Item Makers' most holy and enlightening reliks to ever be bestowed upon the server.

Features:
- Woahhh 12.2k aura with totem boost and curse?! Now that's a lot of damage!
- Invincibility with over 300 raw hpr! Endgame bosses with tremble in fear for however powerful, no boss can defeat the Guacamole shaman.
- Elemental exploitation of Guacamole is non-existant with positive :eledefs: thanks to a sprinkle of fire powder on the top of one's hat.
- 1 cost spells across the board for smooth and easy cycling (including totem flight) so long as you're not a Bed Wars sweat.
- CAN DUAL-WIELD ITS PREDECESSOR AVOCADO!!1!1!!

• Build playstyle/use: Showing off both your hats and your skin in raids. This is tanky enough for all of them.
• Special items (Mythics, Crafteds, Required Tomes): 6 defence from tomes, Guardian, flipped lapis

• Any other interesting info about the build: It has rather low mana but thanks to raid buffs (mana regen/steal buffs are very common in both TCC and NoL) you can easily get an amount of mana you're comfortable with. It also has super slow attack speed for easier courage (fire weapon powder special) charging and can abuse endurance (fire armour powder special). With war scream, max endurance and courage (the most common scenario for Guardian during raids) you get 13k bash / 19.9k uppers, over 60k ehp (nearly 10k raw) and over 9k ehpr (nearly 1.3k raw).

 

• Build playstyle/use: Rage Grandmother to surprise other players in duels by oneshooting them without any visible armour.
• Special items (Mythics, Crafteds, Required Tomes): Grandmother, 4 str from tomes, flipped lapis

• Any other interesting info about the build: With 1 hp rage (this is what you'll have all the time) you get 38k 1 mana storms, 16.4k 1 mana bombs and 6.4k 1 mana escapes. 3 mana regen isn't much but with natural mr that means you can use 8 spells per 5s which usually is enough in duels if you're thinking a bit before using your spells. If yoi get hit you have to hope for your 102 agi to save you; most builds get oneshot in PvP anyway so being at 1 hp doesn't matter as much.

  brainwash made the reqs annoying, and i have no idea how to recipe so it took me ages to come up with a substitute (couldnt have int req helmet) and it probably still isnt good. oh well atleast i tried im going to go sleep now ok bye
