Elements and ele defence/damages make no sense

    So there's 5 Elements and 5 Defenses/Damages for each, right? Cool. Makes sense.

    But then you get into skill points.
    Not only is there a Defense (Fire) which is unrelated to Elemental Defenses, it increases the fire *damage*?
    Think about this. DEFENSE. increases DAMAGE.

    Strength boosts Damage, but also boosts Earth Damage extra? Similarly Dexterity increases chance of double damage, but increases Thunder Damage extra? So earth and thunder weapons are inherently better than other ones?

    Why do specific skill points increase damage, while increasing the Elemental Defense for it alongside the damage makes more sense (to me)? Why is gear the only thing that increases Elemental Defense? Especially when normal defense is already increaseable (by assigning skill points) without gear.

    Also neutral damage ignores Elemental Defenses (obviously) but IMO it should take the average of the elemental defences.

    Skill points just increase your stats in that specific element + some stats relating to that element.

    For example, fire element is related to defense, earth with strength, thunder with dexterity, etc.

    So, it kinda makes sense that +1skill point in defense increased fire dmg and defense since its related to defense.

    Hope that clears up what you said :)
