Elemental Questions

1st question: Is it just me or does everyone have extra fire and water defense even tho I did not wear any armour or accessories that has elemental defense buff
2nd question: I'm not gonna put this on buf report yet incase theres something to this...
I had a momento which has like 80 water defense and -100 thunder defense... thats all the element stats on momento right? I added 2 tier 4 thunder powder on it, then wore it... But on my defense stats it says 180 fire, 120 water, -100 earth, -100 air and -100 thunder.
I took off momento and my stats became 80 fire and 20 water (something like that)

Can anyone explain why the momento did -100 earth and -100 air... This is my fav endgame gear...
