Elder Scrolls: Wrath Of Alduins [rp]

Hi guys! Apparently, I'm new here. I've some RPing experience because I used to play RPs on a different forum. Anyways, as you can guess from the title, this RP is based on Skyrim. Hope y'all have fun playing.

Spoiler: Plot

The High King of Skyrim has been killed, and the threat of Civil War looms over the land of Skyrim; One side wishes to secede from the weakened Mede Empire, while the other wishes to remain a part of it. To make matters worse, this schism is the final event in a prophecy foretold by the Elder Scrolls that will lead to the return of the dragons under Alduin, the Nordic god of destruction.

Spoiler: The Factions

Stormcloaks
The Stormcloaks believe Skyrim should secede from what they feel is a corrupt crumbling Empire. This stance came about due to the aftermath of the Great War and the imposition of the White-Gold Concordat by the Aldmeri Dominion. The Stormcloaks consider the Empire as just a puppet of the Thalmor because the Empire surrendered during the Great War and accepted the Dominion's terms of surrender. The Stormcloaks are led by Ulfric Stormcloak.

Imperial Legion
The Imperial Legion believes that as a province of the Empire, Skyrim must abide by its laws and customs, including the provisions in the White-Gold Concordat. Though most do not approve of the White-Gold Concordat, they nevertheless publicly uphold it in order to preserve the peace between the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion. Imperial Legion is led by General Tullius.

1) No Godmodding.

2) Do not metagame, it is not your right to know somebody is having a love affair.

3) Do not instant kill. I am not using RNG or rolls, you will attempt to assault your enemy but the result will be determined by me unless it's something like "I kill the chicken" or just a weak mob in general.

4) I hold the ability to decide conflicting matters or judge questionable actions, but everything is up for discussion.

Spoiler: Some Important Terms

The Empire
The Septim Empire, Third Empire, was founded by Tiber Septim in the Second Era. It was mostly ruled by the Septim Dynasty, its end marking the beginning of the Fourth Era. At its height, the Empire spanned across the entire continent of Tamriel, and administered feudal control through the nine provinces, with an Emperor or Empress acting as supreme ruler. After the Septim Dynasty ended the Empire began to decline in power.

Aldmeri Dominion
Aldmeri Dominion is a powerful empire established by the Thalmor, a group of radical, nationalist Altmer in the Summerset Isles who espoused the supremacy of the various races of Mer over the Men. Seeking to recreate the First Aldmeri Dominion, the Thalmor expanded their empire into the provinces of Valenwood, Elsweyr, and briefly into Cyrodiil and Hammerfell.

The White-Gold Concordat
The White-Gold Concordat was the official name given to the agreement signed that ended the Great War of the Fourth War. The Great War was fought between the human-dominated Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion comprised primarily of Altmer of the Summerset Isles.

Do you think it is important to have played Skyrim to join this RP?

 

Nope. You don't need any Skyrim knowledge. Just wait for me to update the races before you sign up though.

 

I know a little about Skyrim. My knowledge is very limited though ^^

I like that this RP is basing itself on another world than the Wynncraft one ^^
Also Skyrim has a cool universe (I think. I could be wrong XD) so it is a good choice ;)
I will join this when I get time to make a character application, but that probably wont be very soon since I have some important shit for this next weak that will take most of my concentration.

But RIP Dark Theme though. (Dark theme is basically a re-skin of the forums that makes black really difficult to read >.<)

 

Whoops, sorry Dark themed users. Also, the forum isn't letting me post links yet. I'll try again once I'm back from school.

And is there any other colour which is dark theme friendly?

 

Standard color is ^^
I don't know of other that are friendly to both dark theme and light theme though.

 

In the color menu, click "None" at the bottom. That makes it so that it shows up white for Dark Theme users, and black for Light Theme users.

 

As they said, just use the 'none' option. Also, 90% of Wynncraft Forum Users use Dark Theme, so you might want to make posts Dark Theme Friendly.
