Egg In Sarnfic

So I noticed some names behind this lava while doing "beneath the depths" (also a tier 4 loot chest, pretty awesome)

what the heck is this
I killed the egg guardians and they dropped nothing. Only 2 spawn at a time, with red and blue armor.
They aren't exactly bosses. They both have like 2.3k hp.
close-up, there is a yellow dragon egg thing in the middle of the ice stuff.
I took off my armor because I had to jump through lava to get in here. Nearly died taking the second picture :p
it's under selchar; when i get close it tells me I am entering selchar

coordinates of entrance thingy: -21, 8, -3182

p.s. egg is "an overused search term" so idk if this has already been discussed or not. Just wanted to share.

Why did you took your armor off? It isn't going to break anyway.

 

In the original easter egg they had different names but then someone changed them to egg guardians.
Also, why take your armor off?

 

I took my armor off because fire damage deals a percentage of your max health and I was at around half health with my armor on.
