Archer/Hunter Earthsky Equinox Build!

so this is a concept build and its untested... Also I'm sorry but I can't post pictures cause I'm a dumb scrub who doesn't know how..


Ok now onto the build!

So for the helmet I'm going to use
Pride of the aerie because it is a pretty good earth and air hybrid helmet that raises skill points and damage of strength and agility elements

For the chestplate I decided to use soul signal because of the awesome spell damage and pretty good hp. It also gives me a reason to use dexterity sooooo yeah

For the pant I had some trouble on this but I decided on 3 options, legs of desolation, elder oak leggings, or turquoise. Legs of desolation for the spell damage, and the others are just good earth water leggings so why not. It's all in your preference

For the boots I chose memento for the 4/4 mana regen and the extra raw spell damage and percent spell damage

For the accessories I chose all mana regen items. I decided on moon pool circlet for and extra five Intel and the mana regen. Then I chose raindrop which raises Intel and gives 2/4 mana regen and doesn't give negative mana steal like suppression does. The squid anklet and royal stormy amulet. Preferably 2/4 but mine is only 1/4 but it's still good.

The weapons are earthsky Equinox, obviously, and as a sub weapon you can use bobs mythic or the hive bow. Just in case something has way to much defense for you to break through then use the good old bobs mythic and hive bow! For all your defence breaking needs!


You may be wondering why I'm not using attack tier items. Well it's just cause those items are not actually supposed to boost spell damage so why make builds that won't work in the future right? The over 40% spell bonus is almost an attack tier anyways so who cares?!

Raw skill points

but raindrop decreases health by 50 more than suppression

 

No suppression lowers hp by 350 and raindrop lowers it by 150

 

According to Syaoran's Item Guide, Suppression decreases maximum Health by 100.

 

Oh wait I got it mixed up with stratus XD raindrop is what I chose so that the negative mana steal doesn't proc and take all my mana

Bump this I guess and added poll and fixed the mistake! Also adding the raw skill points and boosted skill points

 

Str and dex dont stack up, in my opinion its a waste to put them in dex. Arent there more str-agi armorpieces and accessories?

 

They might not stack but they cover for each other (if dex doesn't activate str does) and are both associated with high poison damage.

Skill points or not, earth-lightning can be one of the most terrifying element combinations out there.

 

Well, dex is only for crit and Crit du more dmg :D

 

Why soul Signal ? It looks so random.

Please picture of Bomb and spell (high Hit and low Hit,crit and no crit)

Other than that this build feels like it has no defenses ?50 agility wont help, id suggest u go for more agi and less int/dex

If you have an Earth/Lightning based weapon and you boosted both STR/DEX, the damage output would be insane.
And since Earth has poison buffs and Lightning is kind of the Darkness element, Lightning-based items have a chance of having Earth-type boosts too, so they even compliment one another!

If Mage had any good Earth/Lightning wands (we only have one shitty unique), think about how much damage Teleport could do and the general damage of Meteor would increase as-well!

 

I wouldn't go above a tri-elemental setup unless you're using something like Freedom. :|
You seem to be using Dexterity only for soul signal, and in my opinion that is really wasteful.

But at the same time, I feel for OP; there aren't any good endgame earth/air chestplates. So, for that, I just decided to use Changeling's Chestplate for my own earth/air build because it would help with a lot of elemental defense and also boost some damage.

I also used Wolf Paw for the bracelet instead of a mana bracelet, if you want to try that. It boosts earth/air with no downsides.

I like the creative builds going on. This one is pretty good, it looks like it makes melee and spells both quite viable.

 

I'm only using soul signal for a big boost in arrow storm damage. If I hit a mob with a full arrow storm my base neutral damage will be over 20k

Thanks a lot for the constructive criticism and that is really appreciated! I'll definitely try finding other options for chestplates and maybe if I find an earth one then I could put all my points in earth for a guarantee damage boost. I just put soul signal in for the crit chance from dex and as I said above I'll have over 20k raw damage with a full arrow storm

Also as I said in the thread, I don't know how to post pictures. If you could make a tutorial to show me then I could get pictures for the damage. Also as I said in the thread this is a concept build which is untested

 

May I recommend Vortex, then? It gives more boost to raw spell damage, agility, and dexterity. Some pretty good leggings, aside from the health.


For boots, you could try Capricorn. The mana regen lost is made up with mana steal, which I believe in an arrow storm is extremely useful, even more so than mana regen. Would you rather have less base damage but be able to do it near infinitely, or have more base damage but unable to do it infinitely? Capricorn also doesn't have that negative lifesteal that would drain your health quickly in an arrow storm.

 

I know that @Ironraptor3 had a concept for an earth-lightning archer build, I don't remember exactly what it was though.

 

If you want to use Soul Signal for an arrow storm boost, Millennium would be a good choice too. That way, you wouldn't loose the 40 skill points.

 

How so ? Its not even 20k neutral damage if I hit a full arrowstorm with over 1100 raw spell damage.

Please show me the math

Yea it would be right,but it isnt. Try it ingame,it wont work. you can't hit all 60 arrows,I would 5 shot qira with arrowstorms which I dont,I do 20k at most with 1100 raw spell ? Well,we are getting offtopic I think
