    Hi, I was just about to start this quest however I don't seem to have the Amulet of Fire Resistance anywhere, I have the Staff of True Ice. Is there a way I could buy it?

    it's a quest item (and thus untradable) so no, you can't buy it
    try using /fixquests if you think you did lose it, if that doesn't work check your bank and all other classes for it

    Try entering the enchanter's house in Maex, it always gives me back the quest items even though I have finished the quest.
