Art Drew Stratiformis! - Mcw

Hey guys,

I am back again with another mythic drawing! I plan on making an art hub after my next drawing for all of these. I continue to urge you to suggest weapons for me to draw! This one took probably 1 hr 30 minutes, Gaia was probably about the same.

Also, mcw is the series I am going to call all of these, so whenever you want search the forum for mcw tagged threads and all of these will come up!

Do you use a graphic tablet? and also what program do you use?

 

Recently I have been using a Bamboo Spark (Wacom) to do my sketches, and coloring them in in Paint Tool SAI. I plan on using Photoshop in the future when I learn how to use it better

 

isnt the stratis supposed to be made out of air currents tho

 

I like to use my imagination while drawing these, whatever comes to mind I draw

It looks good but there's an error in your bow structure. Arrows are always longer than the bow itself when the string is idle. The feather part of the arrow only touches the string when the bow is pulled back.

Look up bow and arrow on google images and you'll see what I mean.

Derp is on you Xykeal, it is ... "technically" a pencil? It's one of those fancy write on paper convert to image devices xD

Also how the heck does everyone have such good equipment. I'm still using a $25 Bamboo pen and touch off of eBay lol

Pens and pencils are different xD

 

I am using dollar store pencils and lined paper

 

I recommend you stick with Paint Tool Sai because its a program made specifically for drawing and it's easier. Photoshop on the other hand isn't a drawing program but can get the job done, and it's a bit harder to master too.

 

If you want better traditional art supplies, I'd suggest buying a set of graphite pencils. They are only $5-10 but can last you years. Also a sketchbook is really nice too, since the paper quality is better. It's around $5 too, shouldn't be too expensive.
