Dr legendary misunderstanding?

What was the “misunderstanding” between dr legendary and qira?

Dr Legendary mistakenly thought that he was going to be the protagonist of the next Qira fanfic

 

IIRC, Dr. Legendary wanted to make a robotic copy of Qira for Legendary Island, so he sent a letter to the hive informing Qira that he was going to visit her to ask for her permission. However, Yansur received the letter and never gave it to Qira, so when Dr. Legendary visited, he was not an expected guest and he also came off as quite rude. Qira told him that if she ever found out that Dr. L had made a robot copy of her, she would kill him, or worse.

There is also an NPC in thanos during From The Bottom who claims that Dr. Legendary visited once and mocked dwarven technology, calling it inferior to Corkian tech. This is implied to be on the same visit to the area as the Qira incident.

I'm pretty sure both of these are misunderstandings, though. We don't know enough about his Qira visit to speculate on it, but it can be assumed that, in his Thanos visit, he was telling people about how Corkian tech could be used to improve their existing tech, which Lodog took as an insult
