Double Loot On Loot Chests?

    I've always wondered if double loot has any effect on loot chests. I understand double loot literally doubles any normal loot drops, rather than improving loot quality, but I just want to confirm there is no difference.

    From my personal experimentation I can almost guarantee there is no difference, especially considering how the bomb works on mob drops.
