Dogun Escapee?

I found this mob behind the statue of the heroes of Rodoroc. It always does the same thing: spawn on the statue, jump and die in the lava!



Coords: 1167, 30, -5144.
What's the purpose of this mob and why does it always jump into the lava?

 

It probably jumps in the lava because it has the AI that runs away from players, and you're right next to it.
Cool find! I've never seen this before.

It jumps in the lava because of the absolute genius that is Wynncraft mob AI.

 

This has always been here, nice find anyway.

Also if you look into the mines there are Dogun Conscripts. By the power of inference (kinda idk) you can assume that they escaped the conscription.

This makes sense as the Dwarves kicked the Doguns out of their homelands, and then enslaved them.
