Does This Lead To Anything?

So I was helping one of my friends with Haven Antiquity and we noticed that in the crypt on alive island, at one of the gravestones there was a button.
I pressed it but nothing happened, so we went back to dead island. At the same tomb on dead island there also was a button in the exact same spot, so my friend went back to alive island and we pressed the buttons at the same time.
This time something happened. We could hear pistons moving but we didnt see anything, so my question is; does this lead to anything or is it just there for no reason?

I have heard there is an incomplete easter egg on Dead Island but no idea if this is it.
