Yes, but it will not kill you- it will just leave you at 1 HP. The same applies for -health regen.

lifesteal is also affected by the attack speed of your weapon, I do not remember exactly the % chance to trigger on each level, but at super slow (minimum) it is almost garanteed while at max (super fast) its rarer, meaning if you got a good enough amount of hpr or play a healing class, you can go -ls on super fast without big problems usually

    Don't listen to this.
Firstly, the chance to trigger is about 67% at super slow attack speed. Nowhere near guaranteed.
Secondly, the average amount of health lost per second is about the same for each attack speed. But because it's chance based with each attack, with super fast attack speed you will sometimes suddenly lose ALOT of health. This advice would be good for positive life steal because there's less consistency at higher attack speeds. But sometimes randomly losing ten times more health than you normally do in that time is very bad.

from my experience on heavy melees, the steals are always reliable on super slow and have never dissapointed me

as for super fast, ofc I dont say rock on -15000 lifesteal, but if your hpr is good enough or if you posses the RLR class that instantly keep you alive, rocking super fast with -ls is not the end of the word

after its all about the RNG, you could get 10000 melee in a row without losing hp and get a million more without procing LS on sup slow
