Does Dodge Affect Fire Powder Specials (on Armour)?

So, fire powders on armour gives extra fire damage % per hits taken, however if those hits were dodged, does that still counts as a hits taken and will buff the fire damage %?

I'd assume not, since agility is technically taking 0% damage meaning you don't actually get "hit" when it procs, so it wouldn't boost the endurance. However, unless someone confirms it I'd have to test it to 100% confirm.
