Does anyone know how to make level of detail mods work on Wynn?

This is the mod in question which increases visual render distance by decreasing detail of far away blocks: https://github.com/PorkStudios/FarPlaneTwo.
it works normally in a normal world, but doesn't change anything in wynncraft. I've tried to load other chunks to see if thats the problem, but no. is this a server quirk with the texture pack or something?

 

on servers the render distance is normally set on 10, if you want to see further you likely need a chunk cache mod, a mod that remembers chunks that you have loaded once before.

the wynntils mod has that feature but if you don't want that there are other mods out there that also do the trick

 

where is this setting?

 

You have to put your Update Stream to "CUTTING EDGE" in the "Core" settings of Wynntils.

Then you have to restart the game and let the latest patch being installed.

Then you will probably have to restart the game again and finally, you can go into the Wynntils settings again and you should now have a "Chunk caching" option in the "Visual" settings. Just enable that and start exploring Wynn until you have cached every single chunk.
