Title. Just curious because I have not touched TNA with shaman ever since it came out with 2.0. i have most of my tomes from NOL and TCC, but TNA raids just make me feel so weak. i play acolyte/lunatic mask shaman so im trying my best to help out my party, but im not of much use unfortunately.

for the record, im trying to get two gxp tomes to maximize my gxp gains. the things i do for proffing smh

Unfortunately spell shaman sucks in TNA. TNA is based on single target dps and mobility, both of which shaman lacks (and is why trickacro or charge spam is meta) however, melee does high dps so I’d recommend switching to that

Back when 2.0 first dropped, I only did TNA as an Acolyte/Ritualist. Overall, it's actually pretty good but it's situationial, especially against Greg if your team is capable of keeping him locked in one general spot but if he's constantly moving, it's gonna be a pain to deal with. Blood Connection makes dodging his attacks not too difficult at least, but the void holes can screw you over if your totem happens to fall into it. As for the challenge rooms: Shaman works pretty well in bulb room and pretty much just any challenge room where you need to deal damage across a large area (Blood Aura will keep you healthy, I never dealt with any close calls). Overall; good for challenge rooms, kinda sucky for the boss unless you have a team member constantly taunting Greg and keeping him relatively stationary
