Guide Documenting Wynn's Trees

So, trees, trees, trees. So many varieties in Wynn, in so many different shapes and forms. But they're just not getting the love they need. So I will. I'm going to document all the trees that are present in the Wynn province. I'll be setting a few ground rules first:

1. This does not include the ocean.
2. There are bound to be a few that I have missed, probably. Please, tell me what tree and I'll get a picture, or you can get a picture yourself, either way.
3. I will not name these trees. Well, I'm not the one who created them. I think we should all put names in to decide which tree would be named what.
4. It looks like I'm flying in some pics, it's just an escape spell.

So let's get straight into it, then.


1. _____

Description: generic oak, medium sized tree. Has several spouts of leaves coming out from different branches. Has large roots appearing above ground.
Found: Detlas Suburbs


2. _____

Description: Generic oak, medium sized tree. Leaves are joint up with leaves of other trees to create a roof of a forest. Packed together with similar species. has minimal roots appearing above ground.
Found: Nivla Forest


3. _____

Description: Generic oak, small-medium sized tree. Leaves are clumped together in a spherical shape. Has mushrooms growing off the trunk. Has small roots appearing above ground.
Found: Emerald Trail, Scattered around Ragni, Near Katoa Ranch.


4. _____

Description: Dark oak, tall tree. Leaves are in a big clump with a mixture of oak and spruce leaves. Minimal roots above ground.
Found: Near spider dungeon


5. ____

Description: A much larger version of Tree 4, with roots appearing above the cave.
Found: Near spider dungeon


6. ____

Description: Dark oak, small tree, a seemingly dead willow tree. Ha vines hanging off the small amount of branches it possesses. Small roots above ground.
Found: Nemract, Ancient Nemract


7. ____

Description: A thick palm tree. Not usually found standing straight up, with 'palms' hanging off and up and in all sorts of directions. No roots, found on sand only.
Found: Pirate Cove


8. ____

Description: Jungle wood, medium sized tree. It has several branches which separate from the base and go up into a disc of jungle leaves. No roots seen above ground.
Found: Savannah


9. ____

Description: Jungle wood, thick, tall palm tree. Has 4+ palms sticking out and flopping down. Appears to contain coconuts, but no one can remove them... odd...
Found: Beside the river in Almuj


10. ____

Description: generic oak, tall, thick double-trunked tree. Branches off into two or maybe more branches with individyal leaf segments. Has large mushroom platforms growing off it, and some vines running through the trunks.
Found: Black Road


11. ____

Description: A generic spruce pine tree. Can vary with thin trunks or thick trunks. Quite tall and has a sharp point at the top. It is snowy with around 3-5 layers of spruce leaves.
Found: Nesaak, Icy Area


11.5. _____

Description: Possible a selectively bred version of Tree 11 to be much smaller and more appealing for the city of Ragni.

Description: A jungle tree, large. More curvy than other trees, and grows in quite unpredictable patterns. Has multiple disc-shaped clumps of leaves with vines growing down the trunk, and often hanging off.
Found: Jungle, Dernel Jungle


13. ______

Description: Small apples trees grown in rows to maximize the food production for the Detlas areas. Simple clumps of leaves and no roots are showing.

Description: A humongous willow tree with dead leaves. Very thick trunk and branches separate pretty low down into separate parts, with dead leaves hanging off.

Description: Dark oak thin trees. They don't seem to have a roof of leaves over them, instead they just hit the ceiling. A large growth of vines will populate the surrounding area.

So yeah, that's about it. There'll be probably be more since I might've missed a few.

If you want to propose a name for a tree, here's the format you should do:

(Tree #)
(What it's name should be)
(Why)

If it gets enough support it will be added with your credit.

So yeah! Something I did whilst waiting for Gavel. Enjoy!

 

This'll be interesting for when Gavel comes out. We've made some pretty cool trees. Nice thread.

yeah, I'll probably do a Gavel version when it comes out :)

 

I just tought isn't there a place in build world where every old and new tree is build and you could just copy from there and add to Wynn/Gavel?
I heard that sometime ago from someone? but i don't know is it true...

EDIT: I don't mean you did this for nothing I think this is a great project and even if there would be this tree place we could not see them there.. So thanks for the thread just do it again in Gavel... I can't wait to see photos of those huge crystal trees we saw in trailer :D so looking foward to that

P.S. Real fan of the idea! Very creative! And no, I would not recommend going to the build server, that's a good way to get yourself banned.

 

... theres something called gavel streams, this guy that is also a owner does them like... every so often... and in there he shows the progress that is made for gavel that is not shown in the teasers.

one of those times he showed his detabase of tree's and called its treasure, so before you ban me for watching twitch think dammit THINK

Also, maybe you can add the trees with owls in them? They aren't included on he official easter egg website, and I don't know of a thread that shows them all. ;)

Great idea! I have some suggestions to: How about the apple orchard trees, cave trees (there are some caves that have a tree in them, usually a tree house), and the mesa trees? I have screenshots of each. http://imgur.com/a/2BTGX

 

Ooh I do like these kinds of threads! Reminds me of my Wynncraft population count.. I should remake that some time. Nice work, you totally should include ocean trees, or even pop them in their own category? Also not sure if you just included them within the Nesaak tree section, but there are some small little pine trees around Ragni that I have always liked.

Spine Tree or Frozen Wood
It's not very good, but it is a pun on the Pine tree. Or the second, Frozen wood, since the tree does have snow and it's wood . But this seems more like a name for an area.

Umbrella 'Tree' or 'of Green'
It is shaped like an umbrella. Also, I think it's representing the type of tree (the name escapes me) that has evolved that shape to collect water. It collects water and brings it to the roots.

Pirates/Warriors Mace
It could be imagined to resemble a mace, and since it's a weapon, well Ta-da.
