Anybody else seen these boots? They're probably still under development as the lore suggests... Maybe they'll be in a quest?

This is certainly an interesting find. My best guess is that these are a planned item to work like 'Flippers' to our Breathing Helmet 'Scuba Masks'. Considering we have two tiers of 'Breathing Helmet', which lets us breathe under water for longer periods of time (using the Respiration enchantment), I wouldn't doubt these three tiers of 'Diving Boots' would have the Depth Strider enchantment on them, each tier having Depth Strider I, II and III respectively. This is almost backed up by the fact they have the walk speed identification, their max scaling upwards in tier. This would mean that, in addition to the natural speed boost granted by the Depth Strider enchantment, you could also have a very fast pair of walk speed boots too. The fact these are test items, the first two being unique and the last being rare, as well as their scaling in minimum levels, makes me think that they'll be implemented in some way when Wynncraft goes fully 1.9 (So it can support Depth Strider) and will be an uncommon drop from certain water or fish themed mobs at certain levels or in certain areas.

This will certainly present an interesting alternative to boats or seaskipper if it proves true, and even more so will it help players in areas that aren't the ocean but have a large mass of water (as Depth Strider III removes all slowdown from water, acting like land). I feel like these would be more of a utility armour than an actual armour, providing a passive boost offered by no other armour type in sacrifice for armour.


Though all of this is just a theory based on speculation from the limited information given compared against what we already have ingame. Maybe these are simply forgotten test items, doomed to never to see the light of day?
