SPOILER Dissecting "lost Soles" Dialogue

This Thread is made to discuss and analyze the quest "Lost Soles," and to uncover some lore
I am in no way trying to impose my views as the correct one, you can make your own conclusions
That being said, let's continue.
TL:DR at the end of thread​

Whilst leveling up my Warrior, I came across the quest "Lost Sole." I didn't think it would be too hard or too lore enveloped, but it was. While doing the quest I came across this dialogue by Ferndor

[3/8] Ferndor: Nobody knows why they decided to hide the boots just after they got into my families hands. I was told they were acquired from a strange man with pale grey skin.​

Now there's only one person who can match this description: Bob. So Javier (From Beneath the Depths) acquired the shoes by raiding the mansion. The mansion received it from Bob if sources are to be trusted, but where did Bob get them from? Now Sarnfic was but underwater by the mage council on Mage Island, so is it possible Nilrem was involved with this? Nilrem is said to be great in the areas of magic, and as such can possibly put down an entire village. So the lore of this quest goes deeper than expected, but another thing that bothered me are the boots themselves.

"Rumored to be crafted from a Dernic stone, these sinister boots radiate extremely powerful dark energy. They have absorbed the power of the raging seas in their time locked in Sarnfic." ​

It's implied that these boots are made from a Dernic stone, but how was this stone acquired? My personal theory is tied with the quest "Reincarnation" with this dialogue

[4/8]Bob: I travelled too far, mined too deep, and of course challenged what should not be challenged. My time in Wynn was coming to an end.​

So as I assume many people came to the conclusion that when he says "mined too deep" he meant the Nether Gate. But I believe he meant the portal to Dern. So Bob has been to Dern twice, once on accident, and once to beat a great power, talked about in the Sealed Letters. Although he's most likely dead after the fight with the great power in Dern. Where am I going with this? Nowhere really, it's just me trying to tie up some loose ends without spamming like 15 different threads on one topic like other forum users. Javier = Illuminati confirmed? Maybe. Or maybe I'm looking too deep into it.
(Bob has been rumored to be dead for a bit of time during the "Bob's Lost Soul" quest, so in a scale of time the Abysso Galoshes have to have been made when Bob first entered Dern. This is because the mage council banished Sarnfic "long ago to hide the horrific power" so it can't have been made yesterday, so maybe Bob first entered Dern when he was 25-40 years old)
TL;DR: Abysso Galoshes from Bob, Bob entered Dern when he was younger, and Nilrem may have sunk Sarnfic.

EDIT: I saw a connection between Sarnfic and Merlin (Nelrim)
In one of his tales, Merlin has to help an army that wants to build a watchtower. There are 2 Dragon eggs, that continue to break the tower down, and in the end they fight, and the story ends with King Arthur going to bed.
In Sarnfic there is a well known Easter egg with the dragon eggs behind the level 4 Chest... Pretty strong connection to me, but you can of course have your ow opinions

The Dern-Bob connection has already been established, but no one before has brought up Nilrem and the Mage counsel. This could be interesting. I would love to see how deep this rebut hole goes.

That's like saying my dentist shot cicel the lion because he's a dentist, other than being a mage I see no connection between nilrem and sarnfic.

 

I respect your views and you can continue to view it however you like. I came to this conclusion by reading that Abysso Galoshes are from a Dernic stone. Nilrem helped Bob into Dern, so there's a pretty strong connection. That's is simply my view, I am in no way saying that this is the correct theory, but I would love to have a civilized discussion on it.

 

I agree with the bob got the boots part.
The nerlim drowned sarnfic is the part I don't agree with.

 

Black text is easy to read in dark theme and I always use dark and black when I type stuff like my shop and stuff I want to look good. What are you talking about? This text is harder to read than black in dark theme.
