I'm trying to make a decent Dex Archer build with high damage and a reliable amount of health that'll cost me little to nothing, since I don't even have half a stack rn. I also don't want to have to use any of the LI accessories, since I haven't done it and I don't intend on getting around to it any time soon. And if/when I do LI, I need this build to be able to work through it. I used to have an Az, but I accidentally threw it in a hopper, so I'm using Hive Bow with 5 t6 thunders. Here's what I'm working with right now:

    Hive Bow w/ 5 t6 thunders

Shimmersight (I can't afford a good Third Eye rn)
    Discharge
    Thunder Sanctuary
    Shaggy Boots

    Moon Pool Circlet
Ring of Generosity (random spot-filler accessory bc I'm too lazy to get another class to 80 and do Qira again, and I can't afford a good Concentration)
    Squid Anklet (2/4 mr)
    Willpower (2/4 mr)

That totals to +195% Thunder dam. I do roughly 10k per. bomb arrow. I'm not sure if it's a bug, or if element dam from powders isn't affected by +ElementDam% stats, but I don't really see any difference between how much thunder dam I do with and without Thunder Sanctuary (which gives +85% thunder dam). I have no idea if 10k is a good or usual amount of thunder dam for dex builds, but I've heard of others with this build doing FAR more dam.

Another complaint I have is that I currently have 8k health, and once I get my hands on a good Third Eye, I'll only have 7k health. This probably shouldn't be a problem, except I'm not very good at not getting killed, so low health is definitely an inconvenience.

I have no idea if it's feasible to create a thunder dam archer build that's high dam, high health, and affordable. But at least maybe I can find out what I'm doing wrong, and if there's anything I can do to improve my situation.

(Also if there's an item that would really help out but is really expensive, just mention it anyway, 'cause I can always save up for it)

So the problem with the kind of build which is made by Control-F'ing and taking only the highest damaging thunder items, then trying to patch up your problems later (which I suspect you did) is that your build ends up having really sketchy everything else

So what you want to do is to not focus on damage in particular and zone out everything else, but rather get some pretty decent damage while still having a usable build in everything else

This is an example of a build that I just threw together, but has alright survivability (at least, much better than yours), and doesn't require any special items. (The best thunder builds, like this one, usually require Hive master items)

Oh and yeah, it's much more reliable to have a weapon that has a base of thunder damage due to the fact that powder damage conversion occurs after the neutral damage is taken out, meaning that a weapon that relies on powders for its damage will have the raw damage taken out before the spell damage is calculated. If you had 195% spell damage instead of 195% thunder damage, it would have been included, but elemental damage is easier to raise, so in general it's a better idea to have both spell and elemental damage.

(Forgot to shorten that link, I'm too lazy to do it sorry lol.)

You can most likely find a good cheap stardust with 38-40sp for 2-3 LE, Memento's are pretty cheap, and you already have a discharge and thunder sanctuary. Binding Brace is from the altar right beside the House of Twain (it's not hard to get). The Raindrops were just something I randomly put in for mana, you honestly shouldn't use them but I didn't know what else to choose. Anyways, in summary, 10K+ bombs, decent defenses, easy-ish items to obtain and it should be pretty solid.

Again, probably not the best build but those are just some ideas to work around. Good luck :)

you have shit defenses and your damage isnt very good for a full glass cannon
because of how the system works, good builds will have at least 100% elemental damage and 50% spell damage
you could try using something like
anima infused helmet (no real replacement, maybe cumulonimbus can work but youre really glassy)
    aquarius
    vaward
    shaggy boots

full morph should work, it gives a good amount of skill points and thunder/earth/fire damage

    hive infused

you have like 11k bombs average, good defenses and mana
aquarius is like 5 le and vaward is 2 le, you probably have a pair of shaggy already and morph accessories are worth like 32 eb

    EDIT: dam got ninja'd
