What do you mean Exactly?

I use fl studios as my DAW(Digital Audio Workstation) and East West quantum leap as my samples(instruments) I also use a piano If that is your question.

I mean like how do you create music, write music

 

Imagine something like THIS and you can edit the notes (make them long/short, change the loudness of the notes) and that is basically what I do in my DAW.

Most of the melody and harmony is just simply improvised, If I feel like a note need to play at X velocity on X note for X time then ill just put it in.
