Lately, there has been some discussion over whether or not the XP bonus on weapons/armor add to quest XP.

Now that we have the official numbers for levels, we can calculate this for certain.

A Level 91, needs 5853000 XP to level to Level 92, as seen here
    https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/the-official-xp-chart.120142/ (Courtesy of @XavierEXE)

My archer had 27% before accepting the quest, The Lost.
    https://gyazo.com/b002584d7d30815224b8cd8663cd59c8

My archer needed 73% more XP to level to Level 92, which is 5,853,000 x .73, which is 4,272,690.

I was wearing full XP armor and using a 31 XP Return to Ether,
    https://gyazo.com/c85ef25f363d24a0d9ad6c92c970a7a5 (Only Armor + Accessories)
    https://gyazo.com/047603aa00cee71fc9cbbafce76fe356 (Return to Ether)

In total, this is +236% XP
    The quest gives 545000 XP.
    https://gyazo.com/f80a9d263c0b494b0dfab9d2fa66079f

I accepted the quest under DXP, doubling my XP gain.
My archer now has 90% XP.
    https://gyazo.com/9c7c436f29121c9cf6618312c865df26

I did not kill anything in between the time I took the screenshot of the 27% XP and the finishing of the quest. I had already done everything required in the quest. I just hadn't accepted it yet.

The jump from 27% to 90% is 63% of 5,853,000 is 3,687,390, meaning I got around 7 times the xp the quest was supposed to give.

So now time for the real proof.
The formula for xp would be
    Quest XP x (100%+XP Bonus) x 2(from dxp)
    545,000 x 336% x 2 = 3,662,400

Remember, there is a margin of 117,060 that the percentage could fall under. (27% could mean the very start of 27% or 1 xp away from 28%. So we give it a 1% margin of error. We do the same with 90%, giving us 117,060 xp of leeway)

    TL;DR
This is definitive proof that XP Gear DOES in fact affect quest XP. I realize that many people have already noted this, just that besides Broettinger’s proof (which people discredited for some reason, despite its definitiveness), there was no hard evidence (utilizing numbers)

Also, yes, I made sure my guild xp was 0

Edit: No, I am NOT selling my XP gear.

The thing is now please explain to me, if you finished "The Lost" why didn't you have a quest finished

    87/104 - 27%

    87/104 - 90%

That is certainly interesting. I guess you just have to trust me when I say that I finished the quest before the second one, and after the first one. I have no reason to fake this information. If anything, I'm doing this as a PSA for people who don't wear their xp gear while accepting quests.

Edit: Just checked, @L179 is right. I have 18 uncompleted quests. I have begun Qira Hive. But it says 87/104 completed.

Wait wut. Look at the original post and who made it lol. I'm not saying that it DOESN'T work. In fact, this post was saying that it DID affect quest XP. Read through it. You can see that I calculated the xp the quest gives, multiplied it by dxp and xp bonus, to prove that it does, in fact, affect quest xp

rip. i had speculations that XP gear did affect quests since my mage went from 81-85 with TXP hive. My archer completed hive under the same circumstances but only went from 81-84.5. (note: i turned the quest in when i was 16% thru 81 with mage which is less than the 41% thru 81 I was with archer.)

Thanks, however, I've been saying what I know, which is not as you claim about my statements, and as
pointed out, this has not been the official stance since day One. And as
pointed out, without real numbers to deal with, we only have observational bias. Now, as Broettinger stated, when he did his testing, he set his XP to zero at whatever level he was at, then tested both with and without high XP armor, getting a substantial difference between the two. Taking Broettinger's statements at face value, that means that somewhere along the line, XP bonuses have begun to affect quest XP. That change was never announced, so we don't know, in fact, if it is an error, or if it is intentional.

Now, let's take a look at TheDesk's numbers:
    Agreed.

    0.27 x 5 853 000 = 1 580 310

    5 853 000 - 1 580 310 = 4 272 690; agreed.

    Agreed.

    Agreed.

    Accepted.

    0.90 x 5 853 000 = 5 267 700; and 5 853 000 - 1 580 310 = 4 272 690; 4 272 690 / 545 000 = 7.84 or almost 8 times more XP than expected. Agreed

    (545 000 + (545 000 x 2.35)_ x 2 = 3 662 400 ; Now, 4 272 690 / 3 662 400 = 1.167, therefore, the calculated approximate expected XP if armor XP affects quests is within 17% of the calculated approximate XP received. Agreed

Now, no matter how you look at it, 545 000 XP expected at the base XP level, and 1 090 000 XP at 2X XP, is a long ways away from the 3 663 400 to 4 272 690 XP range. So, my questions remain: 1) were the GMs wrong when they said that XP bonuses don't affect quest XP?, 2) now that quest XP is affected by XP bonuses, is this a temporary glitch, or is this the new normal?

This post is just showing people who refuse to believe xp armor affects quests that it does, in order to help them level quicker. Honestly i have no idea what people are saying they disagree about... this is exactly what happened to me the other day: i told some noob to hand in quests with an xp bomb, and he told me it didnt affect it. After i told him my proof, he told me to "quit the game" if i wanted to use this method to help other players, who should enjoy the "point" of the server: "grinding for over 200 hours in freezing hights"
