Resource Pack Custom Sword Model

Here is a sword model I made with MrCrayFish's model creator. (This is my first model so the handle is not perfectly in the players hand '-').

The depth and handle are amazing, though I'd recommend making the blade a bit longer!

Looks great! the blade could look a bit sharper and less dagger like though. Way better than anything I could do.

 

I have no problems with the detail, which honestly surprises me.
I work mainly in 2D textures so I don't really know how difficult this was, but:
1. Change orientation- Like Wynn said, it looks like you're holding a sausage fork
2. Make the blade sharper- If not a sausage fork, it looks like a shocker stick.
Otherwise, nice job! Like the dual-blade idea.

 

the normal place you hold a weapon is X:9,Y:9.5,Z:7. If you put your rotation axis there you should get it to be spot on. It is 2 pixels inside of your arm in either +/- for both X and Y, and 1.5 pixels inside of your arm in the +Z and 10.5 pixels inside your arm the -Z. Also you need to make your model so the Z is length of the sword, Y is the width of the sword, and X is the thickness of the sword. The one problem I have is that it only looks good in 3rd person.

I could make this with 3D models and well positioned armor stands, yes it is possible.
Basically you can make anything within the 3x3x3 block space per texture and with the limited angles.

 

Well, what I was asking was can you MAKE 3D claws... not Can you xP

I really want a resource pack that I can use where all the swords are claws, cuz my theme is dragons... so... yea.

 

Am I the only one who thought this looked like a fork?
