Mage/Dark Wizard Current Lunar Li Solo Attempt

Hi everyone and happy holidays :D

Welp back to the title, this is the lunar build I used to get to mechacorruptor, with manablast as a secondary:

This is basically aa's bpa build from a long time ago with a finesse xD

Anyway to improve it? Currently I'm thinking of putting w6's on the armour for concentration :)

how about more focus on damage
9.4k meteors with negative life steal and hpr mostly countered
or you can show off your alpha status with this sp-perfect, TWAT taurus build

 

please dont use lunar spine,
i'd rather use depressing stick than lunar spine

 

what's wrong with lunar spine?
-decent meteors
-thick melee slaps
-tons of ele def pierce
-good mana (as long as you play well)
-the crossing
-good heals

after CIB is released, you can abuse The Crossing
https://wynndata.tk/s/DbFkxe also fat 24k quakes, but also 10k meteors, this time featuring not stupidly sp tight everything, but a bit less tanky (no def, less ele def, worse heals)

 

lunar spine used to be better than nepta,

then it got slapped across the face with that negative mana and gay melee attack speed


also mage heal got a huge nerf,
just use lameme or nepta now, its much more effective

Ofc Lament is generally more effective, its a mythic 9 levels higher. As for Nepta. No, lol.
Since water Damage effects heals lunar has better heals than lament.
The -MR is countered with +MS, which is more often proced with lower attack speeds, thus, the super slow attack speed.

 

you're an absolute buffoon have you ever used lunar spine with a good build? based on what you just posted seems not. ok well let me just give you a real quick educate, lunar spine is fucking good. a wand that offers a sufficient amount of mana no matter the build it's in, reaches average meteors and can even be used with taurus for big fat chains. "oh nonnoo but -ls" youre fucking mage do you know what spells mage has oh looks like one of thems called Heal wonder what that might do. of all the things ive seen posted on these forums what you posted here has been the most ignorant and insulting to the build making culture. try using items before forming an incorrect opinion on them, you fool

the ms will only trigger if you attack, and you cant do melee, cus -10000 atk speed, then -50 MR, so guess what, when u get mana steal, it's already gone

so
no heal, no melee, no meteor, no teleport, nothing is viable with lunar spine

melee attack speed caps at super slow and super fast, so you can do melee you fucking buffoon
-50 mr that ticks every 4 seconds. so when you hit a mob, you have full mana for up to 4 seconds in which time you can get 3 meteors in with whatever other spells you want to use in between

 

you see, there's an issue with your logic

-as madkurre said, -attack speed caps at super slow

-the proc chance scales with your attack speed, so mana/lifesteal always procs every 4 seconds on average. in fact, the lower the attack speed, the better the item is for hybrid because of powder specials (which always charge in ~5.5 seconds)
-super fast attack speed chain lightning procs mana/lifesteal less than one time on average
-super slow attack speed chain lightning procs mana/lifesteal 4.5 times on average

-with mana regen, you can
-switch out item to, say, bonder every 5 seconds to avoid the -hpr and -mana regen tick while gaining more mana
-ignore the tick and just melee after it happens for easy 20/4 mana regen

basically, lunar spine isn't bad, it just takes brain cells to use

usually, i'd (between the mr ticks)
meteor snake/heal meteor snake/heal melee (hold another wand for mr for a second) repeat

i don't have proof (video) of me doing anything, but i soloed fallen factory ~30 times (while leveling) with https://wynndata.tk/s/sQWqt1, which isn't even a real build

 

honestly i dont wanna argue anymore. i will only be convinced if u show me u can kill qira or LI with it

i did qira with my nepta combo so if you're really think lunar spine rn is better than nepta, then go right ahead

i will bet 60 LE that you can't solo qira with Lunar spine, using any MR weapon is not allowed. since i used 1 weapon to solo qira.
