    Hello

1.18 brought some radically different and game changing updates, which don’t get me wrong has brought a new life to Wynn.

However there lies a problem not with the professions system at all, but rather the way we prepare for Profession Bombs, I don't know about you guys, but i personally prefer to grind crafting once there are profesion dxp & speed bombs, which if u didnt know doubled the exp & halved the amount of materials required to create an item.

Logically, one would grind for the materials and ingredients before a bomb and stockpile. Sure you could just overcompensate and use the excess materials to further a crafting prof but this is just inefficient & wastes time.

It is possible to get around this dilemma by understanding two sets of data. How much experience would be required to get up to a certain level. & How much experience does an item give w/ ingredients. I’ve managed to find the Profession Exp Curve which can be found here:

https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/the-new-combat-and-profession-xp-curves.244603/#post-3009222 or if your too lazy here’s the direct link to the values https://pastebin.com/tFcaETmZ.

So that just leaves figuring out how much exp crafting an item would give, There are three possible ways to do this.

    1. I power level a crafting profession and catalogue the amount of exp needed, or someone else does this

    2. Salted provides another nifty pastebin link

    3. We as a community, figure this out. So essentially

A player with a crafting profession in the range of 1-9 crafts an item after filling out the ingredient slots with tier 0 items. The range goes as: 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, & so on. This isn't 100% accurate, but it will help estimate the amount of materials needed. Remember to always air on the side of caution when leveling crafting and always get a bit more than you need, not a few extra stacks, totally not from personal experience :3

If it's not too much of an inconvienice, I'd really appreciate if you can help me figure this out <3

Assumption - all crafting professions have the same xp curve.

T1 materials crafting rings in the high 60s gives around 1k-2k base xp. A single T0 ingredient roughly doubles the xp earned, since 4x T0 gets me something like 8k xp. (guesstimating here, haven't tested it just now so I'm going off of what I can remember)

Edit: Try treating a single material used as equivalent to one node gathered. My estimates line up with that pretty well, so I have a suspicion that it might be exactly the case.

Hmm, yeah I did assume all crafting professions had the same exp curve. I see no reason for it to be different. Thank you for the tip, I'll put it to use soon

Oh man! Remember when they removed the feature of xp armour, potions and bombs affecting quests? They did it becaouse they complainen people weren't doing quests becaouse they waited for tripple xp weekends.

I think Salted and Co. forgot about that...

Yeah pspeed affecting materials requirements is definitely a little strange, particularly with how uncommon T3 materials are.
