Craft A Weapon Quest In The Very Beginning

so i fucked up and crafted a dagger instead of a spear now my question is how can i get an ingot tocraft a spear now ?

 

Nearby should be a pickaxe and copper ore

Btw, when you finish the quest, forget about crafting and return to it (if you want) when you finish the game at least once.
It is massive grind that isn't really worth it!

 

but im getting copper gems and not ingots so i cant use it to craft spears?
