Couldn't collect The Queen's Headpiece during Royal Trials

During the little cutscene thing, I saw the item drop at my feet but I didn't collect it before I was teleported away. The dialogue was also glitching during that time and only started playing once I got to the final room. I got the money and XP from talking to to the trial coordinator fine, but is there any way for me to get the item still?

 

There is likely no way to get the item back. As the item is probably thrown in the Quest area, and as there is no way to re-do the quest, and do it before the item despawns, there is no way to get the item back.
