Heyo! Level 66 warrior here. Ive been messing around with the corruption in the fallen subclass and im wondering if anyones got all of its mechanics figured out?

How does resistance effect the damage that counts towards corruption?
When does the cooldown timer start?
Does the overheal from other classes affect corruption?

I might have some other questions as I mess around with the archetype more and reach the end of the tree.

    Thanks in advance!

I don't know much, but I do know that the cooldown starts when you exit corrupted.

Like mob resistance or player resistance? Because for the Player taking damage, you gain Corruption everytime you lose x% of your health, so your damage is increased.
For increasing Corruption via attacking mobs, it depends on your build because the damage boost is raw and % (and raw means Neutral damage). You could have something that converts all raw into a specific element.

I highly doubt it since absorption decays over time so it's hard to judge 2% of your max health if that value is changing multiple times a second.

For the resistance question, i think a better way of saying it would be "does corruption count the damage the player takes before or after player resistance"
Like, if you have 100 max hp with 50% resistance and the mob deals 20 raw damage to you, would it count that as 20% because it was 20% of your hp before resistance is applied, or would it be 10% because thats what you actually lost?

For the absorbtion, the idea was more like, if you took damage with absorption, would that count towards % of your max hp? Like if you had like 20 hp of absoprtion and you took 20 damage, would that count? Or would it ignore it until you start taking damage from your actual hp bar?
I find this question interesting because if the absorption counts you could technically go past taking 100% of your hp and reach the 220% damage bonus cap on that one ability.

The damage the player takes always takes defense and agility into account (unless it's true damage and maybe poison...? Idk much about poison) but long story short, Defense and Agility pretty much always are taken into account whenever you receive damage. Edit: I'm running on 3 hours of sleep and noticed I said the same thing twice lol

And yeah about the absorption: I still doubt the Corruption takes the bonus health into account, but I cannot confirm until that is tested.
