I'm sorry if this has been asked before for 1.20, but is it worth identifying rares around lvl.100 I get from my silent expanse loot run? I seem to lose money doing anything at that level besides mindlessly grinding professions...

on average, you will lose money from identifying and selling rares to a blacksmith

I don't know exactly, but I recall that in the 1.20 changelog it mentioned that selling to blacksmiths would overall be profitable. Don't know the exact details or if it is better to sell un-idendified items than to identify and sell though.

I believe that it is now, but I haven't really tested. What I can say is that rares around that level can be really useful and profitable to sell to other players.

Some would say that (on average) you would lose money from ID’ing and selling items to the blacksmith but I think the emeralds you pick up while lootrunning would offset any possible losses
