Concerning Jester Set

Hello everyone, it's abandonedbank and I am here to talk about the fact that I've noticed a few people both in game and forums selling Jester sets without making people aware of its negative effects. I think thats a pretty terrible thing to do to someone, so I'll just drop a link here https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/jester-set-bonus.101291/#post-1098538. I don't have the authority to say whether or not this is scamming, but I will be trying to make the staff aware of this problem. So if you're buying or selling keep in mind it give you -120% xp and -120% loot. I would just be safe and assume not everyone knows and mention that in your thread. Isn't wearing only 1/3 or 2/3 of the set an effective strategy?

 

It won't be the -120%, however it will start to give -xp/loot immediately as soon as you wear 1,2, or 3 pieces. So by effective if you mean not as bad then yea, but the set will never be good for xp or loot, and should just be used for the other stats.

 

i also want to ask a question. Will the bonuses from 2/3 go to 3/3?

 

I've been posting it on practically all the beginning threads, so I think most of them know.

They're different. 2/3 gives 400 melee and minus spell and health, while 3/3 gives 300 spell and minus a little less health and minus melee.

It is good for xp and loot considering maximum id's are 52 on each. I personally have 49 + 48 + 49 on my jester set for loot, and it gives me much more than i would've had otherwise.

 

@Abandonedbank if you can manage to get 35%+ loot and xp on a bracer and necklace (not sure rings stats), you actually still get substantial positive gains. + the 2 set gives you health

 

But whats the chances of getting a nearly perfect. Even then its still just not going to be good for xp and loot as other things.

I guess so, although average xp and loot on these jester items balance out the negatives already.
I remember finding out about the negatives a long time ago when I posted the first jester piece on the forums XD
I just realized, shouldn't this be in wynncraft section?

 

You realize that everybody knows this right, and that the pieces are still actually worth the money people pay for them....

 

Not everyone knows about it, especially when people don't list it, I personally knew about the 2/3 and 3/3 reductions but not about the 1/3

no they don't, even if they do still post it, because with out it you are scamming them

 

Tbh I've been trying to buy it anyways. In my opinion that's the endgame accessories right there.

Also what happens if you wear 2 rings? Does the set bonus apply twice?
