alright whelp the guy is found in the loot symposium. first one to find it and tell me how it spawns, when it is verified, will get the bounty

 

if i were to guess, they spawn in the challenge with the Exemplar miniboss, since the minions there are Eyefolk

 

Could also spawn in the tower destroy area beside Carnivorous Creature tbh

 

Yeah but the eyefolk there are half-plant half-animal, which presumably the gilded eyefolk is just purely animalistic (or whatever eyefolk are)

 

We don't know what the hell the gilded eyefolk is

Ok I decided to add a small bounty to this goofy goober: first person to get a good photo of a gilded eyefolk and post it here gets the first mythic i find in a lootrun.

it apparently has fire damage

its not scared ai, which is a bit weird (runs away from the player), though it might have retreat

this picture now actually kinda makes me think spire of eyes could be back on the table

Im also in spectator, so its behaving as if no players are nearby

 

ok so after i did a lr i got my very first mythic from a reward challenge chest.

The Mythic on the line is an unidentified Monster.

Theory: What if it spawns at City Statue?
The statue IS holding a GOLDEN staff.
Lore-wise, maybe the Gilded Eyefolk ventured into the Olmic City and got a bunch of golden gear, and somehow became golden itself in the process.

Update on the bounty: Given that hotfix 1 is nerfing Mythic rates from chests, I won't be giving away a Monster but will instead do 16 LE. Sorry if you were enticed by the idea of getting a free Mythic, but this is something that I can now no longer bring myself to give away given its the first mythic item i got and also the fact it was from a rewards challenge chest (which is essentially a loot chest). Once again I'm terribly sorry if you really wanted an unided monster, but there's still a reasonable bounty to entice you.
