Build Cod Bo3 Gravity Spikes Made With Command Blocks

Ok so who here has seen/heard of the COD BO3 Gravity Spikes? If you haven't, heres a clip of what it does:

(it should start at 0:14, if not, go there, thats all you need to watch for a couple seconds)

For anyone too lazy to watch that video, the with the gravity spikes you jump up and slam down holding them, creating a large shockwave in the ground.
Ok, so I made it in MC using command blocks:

I apologize for the heavy lag, I was using QuickTime Player.

I'm sure many of you could do much, much better, I only made this because I couldn't find anything like this on the internet.
