Any Class Help Class Recommendations

I will just start the game, which class is good for this, can you write with reasons?

Personally I would recommend mage for beginners (specifically going for lightbender), though shaman (summoner) and archer (boltslinger) are also good beginner classes.

Why is assassin endgame damage worse than Arcanist mage? Arcanist can maybe push 500k dps with high cps while trickster hits the millions

 

I wasn’t raking mythics into account, and nonmythic asssassin isn’t very good. But also I wasn’t thinking in terms of direct numbers when making this, mostly just vibes. My stuff is probably slightly inaccurate as a result.
