Class Questions

I know this will likely be opinionated but what's each class best at, would like to hear people's reasoning behind their answer.

(pvp, pve, farming, runs, etc.)

 

Mage: spells, especially heal for tanking, but also the pretty simple combo of ice snake and meteor


Archer and assassin: the best dps(at least at base. You can get really high dps on all classes). They do have the downsides of being fragile/close range. Archer is the only class to boast almost unlimited range, while assassin has vanish which makes heavy melee really good with it, and also helps with sustain on ETW builds

Shaman: good spell “combos”. Ok tankiness from totem heal. Great for mob crowdcontrol. PVP.... *sigh* toxoplasmosis.....

Warrior: really good for being tanky, often overlooked for other aspects. You can still get great dps/spell builds with it, it just requires some brain cells (and ping for uppercancelling)
