On the wynncraft page, it shows that each spell for each class has some kind of element attached. For example, teleport has 40% thunder, meteor has 30% fire and 30% earth.

I was wondering, is that element a conversion of the weapons neutral to the element, or a bonus?

For example: Say a wand has 100 neutral damage, and a mage casts meteore. Does it result in 100 neutral damage, 30 fire and 30 earth (along with all the other modifications), or does it result in 40 neutral, 30 fire and 30 earth?

And if its the first one, is it an addition based off simply the neutral damage, or all damage? For example if a wand has 50 neutral and 50 water damage, does it get a bonus 15 to fire and earth (based off just neutral) or a bonus 30 (based off the total wand dmg)?

Of course this is talking about before any damage modifications such as spell damage, attack speed, the numerous elemental %, etc.

Or is it based off the final damage? For example if you deal 1000 damage with your meteore after all the modifications, does the system just tack on another 300 fire and earth? Or, like the other example is it 400 neutral, 300 fire and 300 earth?

As far as I know, it's a +X% elemental damage on top of your other damage. Since I was a neutral and water damage wand, and I still deal other elements with spells, I believe it is based off of neutral damage, sum of damage, or average of damage. I'm not entirely sure however. You could look into it if you wanted using controlled damage weapons.

The dagger "Eleven" might be a good choice for testing. No additional melee nor spell damage, and exactly eleven damage every hit.

On the other hand, there's still the mysterious spell damage multiplier from attack speed that'd need to be figured out.

I'm pretty sure that the spell multiplier is the same as the attack speed of a weapon, but I could be totally wrong

Hmm.. Well I'll have to go do some testing then. However something to note is that if you have a purely elemental weapon and still deal other elements without any outside modifications then we can conclude that it isn't based on neutral

Hmmm... that's why I have 2 other ideas. When I think about Mana Splash (wand) I realize that it must be based on sum of damage or average of damage because Mana Splash has no neutral damage.
